At Home Brewer is a website that is dedicated to all beer lovers and for those who want to learn how to make their own craft beer. This website was started by a couple of amateur home-brewers who just has a passion for homebrewing and the growing craft beer industry.
Our goal of this website is to provide useful information and knowledge of beer brewing, along with honest product reviews, while passing along our findings to the Do-It-Yourself homebrewer.
Because there are no professional Brewmasters here, at times we will reach out to experts to get accurate information on specific products that we were not able to test ourselves. Everything else is based on our personal experiences, opinions, and our love for all things beer.
How We Create Content
At Home Brewer is all about homebrewing and craft beer from all over the world. We provide information on homebrewing supplies and equipment, beer of the month club subscriptions, and a beer blog that is about anything else related to the love of craft beer.
While we have many people involved with this website, all of our content is reviewed by me personally before it is published on this site. At Home Brewer has a team of writers to help put the articles and information together, but in the end, it all goes through me.
The goal of this homebrewing website is to make sure every one of our product reviews and informational articles are accurate, so you can feel comfortable when it comes time to make that buying decision.
As much as possible, we try to get our hands on each product that we review and recommend, but sometimes it just isn’t possible to do. When that is the case, we rely on real customer feedback, or get firsthand information from experts who have used these products in the craft beer industry in the past.
We also spend a lot of time in the local homebrew shops in our communities, always trying to gather as much new information as we can, so we can pass it along to all of our website visitors.
Finally, we want this website to be a place where an amateur homebrewer, or any beer enthusiast for that matter, can go to when looking for brewing information and beer equipment recommendations.

David Scott
Hey there. My name is David Scott, and I am a Midwest guy who is married and a Dad to one boy and one girl. I am also the one who created this website.
I first got interested in home brewing more than 10 years ago, and it has been a passion and a hobby of mine ever since.
With a little bit of brewing equipment and a little bit of knowledge, you will be well on your way to brewing your own craft beer. I hope you see how fun it can to be one of the millions of homebrewers around the world, and how it can turn into a passion for you too.
Alex Goldberg
Alex Goldberg is a husband, father of two boys, and a semi-pro beer drinker. He is also an award-winning playwright, screenwriter and director, and his works have been seen around the world.
Alex wrote and directed the indie feature “Closure“, and his play “IT IS DONE” has been published and produced across the country. Much to the chagrin of the rest of the At Home Brewer team, he prefers to drink I.P.A.s.
